About

About Us

Circle K International, or CKI for short, is an international co-ed service organization that is sponsored by Kiwanis International. CKI is the world's largest collegiate organization dedicated to service and leadership development, with more than 500 clubs in multiple countries. CKI clubs focus on the three tenets of service, fellowship, and leadership.

Service

Service is the heart of CKI. There are a variety of service projects to partake in that vary in date, time, length, and focus. We do projects ranging from the elderly and children to the environment and the homeless. If you don't find a project that interests you or if you have a new project idea, please contact us and we can help you set up a project that interests you.

Fellowship

We know that when you come to college, it can be overwhelming. CKI works to actively build lasting friendships and to create a sense of community. Through our weekly socials, meetings, and service projects, we strive to make fellowship an integral part of this club.

Leadership

We want to develop the leadership skills of each of our members. We provide many opportunities for you to discover your talents and have a chance to put them to use. CKI members can serve on the CKI board in any one of the positions (and there are many!) or become a project chair of new or already established projects.

The Pledge

"I pledge to uphold the objects of Circle K International, to foster compassion and goodwill toward others through service and leadership, to develop my abilities and the abilities of all people, and to dedicate myself to the realization of mankind's potential."

Everything Kiwanis

K-Roc!

K-Roc is the beloved mascot of William and Mary's CKI branch! Originally, he was a dog toy, but generous CKI members saved him from a horrible fate of being gnawed on for eternity. Sadly, VCU's CKI group kidnapped K-roc and had him in their custody for too many years. But alas, our CKI members rescued him at 2011 D-CON and now he is safely in the arms of our club again. Every week a CKI member babysits K-roc and has a photoshoot with him. If you would like to hang out with K-Roc, let us know! K-Roc is cool enough to have his own Facebook, so friend him!

Kiwanis Family

CKI is only one branch of the Kiwanis Family. See the entire K-Family below or check out our club's KICK-IT Program.

Kiwanis International

Kiwanis International is a thriving organization of service- and community-minded individuals who support children and young adults around the world. More than 280,000 Kiwanis members in 96 countries make their mark by responding to the needs of their communities and pooling their resources to address worldwide issues. Kiwanis clubs sponsor each CKI club. We are proud to be sponsored by the Williamsburg Kiwanis Club.

Circle K International

This is our level! CKI is a co-educational service, fellowship, and leadership development organization. It is a self-governing organization and elects its own officers, conducts its own meetings, determines its own service activities, and establishes its own dues structure. We are one of many CKI clubs that is part of the Capital District.

Key Club

Key Club is an international high school student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. Many Key Club members choose to join CKI in college. Although both organizations provide different opportunities, they share the common goal of service.

Builders Club

Builders Club is the largest service organization for middle school students (ages 12 to 14), with more than 40,000 members worldwide. Builders Club is structured only on the local club level but is supported by Kiwanis International, which provides programs, literature, and opportunities to relate to teenagers from countries all around the world!

K-Kids

K-Kids is the fastest growing service organization for elementary students worldwide. K-Kids brings the opportunity to perform basic service projects to young children and create a lifelong commitment to service.

Aktion Club

Aktion Club is the newest branch of the Kiwanis Family, created for adult citizens living with a disability. Aktion Club members strive to return to their communities the benefits, help, and caring they have received, as well as develop important skills in the process.
