Course Development
Course development is led by faculty across Virginia's Community Colleges in a highly collaborative process with four year partners.
This platform contains all VCCS courses. Those revised through Transfer Virginia include a detailed description and statewide development designation.
You can request the team revisit the course description, prerequisites, or any other course information by using our "Course Review or Revision Request" form. This will go to the Transfer Virginia team for next steps.
VCCS Faculty can join the Transfer Course Development Canvas page to learn more about how to develop a course, how to build or find OER resources to support your course, or how to join an active or emerging course development group.
All faculty interested in joining a current or future course development team should fill out an interest form. Recruitment is ongoing, but cohorts align with Dean's Course Review Committee meetings.
