The common curricula are faculty- and administrator-facing. The transfer guides are the student-facing advising component of Transfer Virginia that utilizes the common curricula. After the common curriculum is finalized, individual departments and majors at four-year colleges use the approved curriculum to create transfer guides for their respective disciplines.
