Peer evaluation is one example of formative assessment. Per evaluation is a method in which students give feedback to other students. It is a method for students to comprehend expectations and evaluate their classmates' abilities. It allows students to learn, analyze, and deepen their comprehension of the topic while also encouraging reflection.
Assessing a project is an example of summative assessment. A project might be made independent or by a group of students that will be presented to the rest of the class. students will be able to collaborate with their classmates and follow the rubric provided for their work. Throughout the unit, students can gather new information and review previusoly learned knowledge and put it together with their classmates as a final grade for the unit/lesson. This will allow students to assess themselves.
Teacher observation is a formative assessment. We as teachers, should or will get to know our students best. As a result, by listening to and taking notes on students' assignments and responses to questions, you can assess whether you need to teach a specific topic more or less. Teachers can effectively observe their students by looking for on-task actions, academic language, and assignment completion.

It can be either an informal or formal assignment that assesses students' comprehension of topics and/or procedures by requiring them to demonstrate what they have learned. A performance assessment can conclude a speech delivered to the class approaching a problem that they had the flexibility to approach.

Giving a breif exit ticket quiz can benfit both the teacher and the students. it will allow the teacher to determine wheter or not her students are learning the objectives of the lesson. Students benefit from it since it provides a breif review if what they have learned from the lesson that day.
