Eligibility for Experiential Learning Programs prior to Mason Matriculation:
Recognizing that there are times when ADVANCE students at NOVA will want to participate in co-curricular programming prior to transition to degree-seeking status at Mason, students in non-degree status are allowed to take an experiential learning course under the following conditions:
- Credit-bearing Course Type: study abroad, internships, entrepreneurship courses, community engagement experiences
- Available Time Frame: Student must have completed at least 45 degree-applicable credits in their ADVANCE curricular pathway
- Academic Requirements: minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA; course must be relevant to ADVANCE curricular pathway
- International Students: must have an eligible visa status
