Panopto is used to house instructional videos using your NetID.
There are two main types of videos in Panopto:
These recordings are usually posted several hours after the session is over. We cannot guarantee that all lectures or sessions will be recorded. Some sessions, like patient panels, are not recorded. In other cases, technical difficulties may prevent recording. You must log into Panopto directly to access these videos. They will not be posted in One45. If a session is NOT going to be recorded in Panopto, this will be noted in One45.
Recordings by faculty for you to watch on your own time, either as a standalone lecture, or as a supplement to an in-class active learning session.
Direct links to ILM videos will be posted in One45 alongside other learning materials. These links will take you to a specific video in Panopto. You can also log into Panopto directly and use the navigation menu on the left.
Click on the down arrow and select UA NetID
Click on the Sign In button
Login with your NetID and password (you should see a familiar “Web Auth” page)
Note: Do not select “Panopto” or “Main Campus D2L” from the dropdown menu.
You will ONLY see videos you have been granted access to. These are easy to identify by the COMPHX prefix.
In the left-side navigation menu, you will see videos housed in the main COMPHX - College of Medicine - Phoenix folder. Under COMPHX-Curriculum you will see they are organized by cohort (such as “COMPHX - Class of 2022”) and then by block/course.
Panopto links used in your blocks and courses will be linked directly in One45 for your convenience. These links are cohort-specific and will NOT work for other students outside your cohort.
Searches will apply to the folder you have selected in the navigation menu on the left. This can help to reduce the number of results when you're looking for something specific or can also help expand your search when using more general terms.
