Note: you may see references to both “Examplify” and “ExamSoft” in both this guide and the software itself. Examplify is the name of the testing program, ExamSoft is the name of the company.
Examplify is the software used for block exams and quizzes. You will need to install the testing application on your own device in order to take your exams. On exam days, download the exam file onto your computer prior to the exam start time and take the exam. To download Examplify, visit: http://www.examsoft.com/uacomp.
You will need to have this installed during the ITM block where you will take a practice exam to ensure your system is ready and working.
Look for an email with installation and registration instructions sent in July. This email will contain an institutional ID, student ID, and password.

Log in under “Exam Takers” using your Student ID and password in the email provided
3. Look for the Install and Register Examplify section, and click Download.
4. Install the application on your computer.
5. When you open the Examplify app, you will need to accept the user License Agreement, add your new account, and log in. If prompted for an institution ID, enter uacomp
Note: Each time you use a new device or borrow a laptop, you will need to repeat this process.
Exams are downloadable files. You may download them starting at midnight before your exam.
Download exam file to your Macbook/PC.
Password will be sent out via email 5 mins before start time.
Take Exam virtually via Examplify (you may use your own scratch paper).
Upon submission, you will see an immediate score.
Successful upload = Green screen
Throw away scratch paper. You are done!

Intro to Medicine Block Exam
Pass/Fail upon successful download, completion and upload transfer.
Exam will be available to download by 6pm on Thursday of week one.

Email reminder with review information will be sent after each Friday exam.
No cellphones/notes/backpacks/bags or other materials are allowed during the review.
Laptop used to take exam should be used for review.
Question Challenges are submitted via google form link sent in email reminders. Challenges should be submitted by deadline in email reminder.
Students wishing to challenge a question must do so using the Question Challenge form provided on the assigned challenge computers. Students should provide their name and ensure that challenges are clearly articulated, including a description of the specific problems identified in a question and a justification of why additional answers should be considered. The Block Director will read and respond to all challenges via a single email to the entire class. The Block Director will clearly indicate if the challenge does or does not have merit and if any scoring adjustments will be made. A successful challenge will only result in additional credit being given and no question will be thrown out.
