HELP SUPPORT THE WORK OF ECR
We are grateful for our community and community partners! We could not accomplish the vast array of programs we offer without these amazing individuals and organizations. Below are our regular fundraising events and a list of folks who help us do the work we do.
Join us on the first Friday of the Ely Winter Festival in February for our Annual Spaghetti Feed, hosted at at St. Anthony's Church, from 4 pm to 7 pm.
Our chef, Brett Ross, will prepare homemade sauce with and without meat. The ECR Staff and Board Members will tend to the kitchen, serving and bussing tables. The meal will also will include pasta, salad, bread and Brainstorm Bakery cookies for dessert.
Our Annual Art Auction, which takes place every March at Ely's Historic State Theater, is one of ECR's largest fundraisers! During this beautiful evening, we come together to celebrate our kids and the adults who support them.
We're grateful for the auction donations of Ely's talented painters, quilters, potters, bakers, photographers, knitters, seamstresses, furniture makers, jewelry makers, and crafters of all kinds, as well as donations of lifestyle items, experiences, and other Minnesota attractions from others.
ALL proceeds from this event, including ticket sales, go directly to keeping our programs running!
Every June, thanks to Zup's Market, we spend one Friday in the parking lot selling burgers and brats to raise money for our youth programs.
ECR staff and Board Members tend the grill and serve lunch to all who stop by.

The Northwoods Kids Fishing Derby takes place in June of even years. It's hosted by Veterans on the Lake Resort and Ely Bloomenson Hospital always sets up a First Aid Station.
This is a fun-filled day where youth are able to fish and learn about:
Water Safety from the DNR
Aquatic Invasive Species from Lake County Soil and Water Conservation District & WICOLA
Ecology with Bill Tefft and other Ely Field Naturalists
Fishing skills (e.g., like knot tying and casting) from various volunteers

Our Community Campaign Fundraiser is an incredibly important fundraiser where we seek individual donations from community members and more.
This campaign letter goes out in September with the help of ECR's incredible Board Members. Looking for ways to leave a legacy? ECR can be included in your will and estate planning.
Across Minnesota, thousands of nonprofits and schools are doing incredible work. You can support them each November for Give to the Max Day.
