Encourage participation in school activities.
Reach out early if concerns arise.
Working together, we can help students develop the confidence, resilience, and skills they need to succeed.
Our student support team works collaboratively with families, teachers, and students to provide guidance and assistance throughout the school year.
Our team includes:

Strong relationships are the foundation of a positive school community. Through programs like KORT, mentoring, Community Circles, and everyday interactions with caring adults, students are encouraged to develop a sense of belonging, build meaningful connections, and contribute positively to our school community.
Elwood Middle School uses restorative practices to strengthen relationships and help students learn from challenges. When conflicts occur, students are encouraged to reflect on their actions, repair harm when appropriate, and develop strategies for making positive choices moving forward.
Our goal is to promote accountability while maintaining a supportive and respectful school environment.
Every student deserves to feel safe at school.
We encourage students and families to report concerns related to bullying, harassment, or peer conflict. Reports are taken seriously and addressed promptly in accordance with district policies and New York State's Dignity for All Students Act (DASA).
If your child has concerns, please contact a school counselor or administrator.
