Please call the Main Office to report your child's absence as soon as possible. Be sure to include your child's name, grade, and the reason for the absence.
If your child forgets their Chromebook, they should report to Chrome Central, located upstairs in the library, before classes begin. If available, they can borrow a loaner Chromebook for the day.
Core Extension is a dedicated period built into the school day that provides students with additional opportunities for academic support, intervention, enrichment, and personalized learning. Depending on their needs, students may participate in AIS, Level Up, enrichment activities, or other instructional opportunities.
AIS provides additional instruction in reading and/or mathematics for students who would benefit from targeted academic support. Student placement is based on multiple measures of performance, and progress is monitored regularly to ensure students receive the support they need.
Level Up is a small-group support program designed to help students strengthen organization, study skills, time management, executive functioning, and academic confidence. Students work with trusted staff members to build skills that promote independence and success.
The easiest way to communicate with teachers is through ParentSquare or by email. Teachers will respond as soon as possible during the school day.
Students are welcome to join clubs at any time during the school year—there is no formal sign-up period for most clubs. Simply attend a meeting! Club meeting dates and times are announced throughout the year, and a complete list of clubs can be found on the Clubs & Activities page of our website. Clubs meet before school, during the school day, or after school depending on the activity.

We encourage families to reach out early if they have concerns. Start by contacting your child's teachers to discuss academic progress. You may also contact your child's school counselor. Together, we can develop a plan to support your child, which may include teacher extra help, academic interventions, a team meeting, or additional support services such as AIS or Level Up.
