The first level of support takes place in the classroom. Teachers use a variety of instructional strategies to meet students' individual learning needs, including:
Small group instruction
Differentiated assignments
Individual teacher conferences
Flexible grouping
Opportunities for extra practice and enrichment
Ongoing feedback to monitor student progress
AIS provide additional instruction for students who need targeted support in reading or mathematics. Placement is based on multiple measures of student performance, and student progress is reviewed regularly.
Students may enter or exit AIS throughout the school year based on their individual progress and needs.
Level Up is designed to help students strengthen executive functioning skills while receiving academic support. Students work in small groups with trusted staff members to improve organization, time management, study habits, and self-advocacy while receiving support with current coursework.

Students are encouraged to seek additional help whenever they need it. Teachers are available to answer questions, provide clarification, and support students in developing a deeper understanding of course content.
