Prep and Year 1: Make up an imaginary pet. Draw a picture of your pet and give it a name. Can you label some parts of your animal or write a sentence abot it?

Year 2 - Year 3:  Make up an imaginary animal. Draw a picture of your animal and give it a name. Label some of the important parts of your animal.

Write a descriptive paragraph about your animal. What would it look like? What does it eat? How would it move? Can it fly?

Year 4 - 6: Design an imaginary animal. Draw your animal and label its features. 

Write a descriptive paragraph about your animal. Include ambitious vocabulary and detail about what it looks like, how it moves and how it behaves.

Reading: Don't forget to spend 20 minutes each day reading.  

What would you do if you were the teacher for the day?

Prep and Year 1: Draw a picture of what you would do as a teacher. Can you write a sentence about what you would do if you were the teacher?

Year 2 - Year 3:  What would you do? Write 5 sentences explaining what you would do if you were the teacher for the day!

Year 4 - Year 6:  Write a narrative (story) about the day, think about the problem and resolution in your story. 

Ways to make 20

Make, write and draw 20 in as many ways as you can.

See if you can show the number using:

• Words

• Pictures 

• Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division

• Fractions, Decimals

• Money 

• Time

• Objects

Trace around your hand and then write or draw 5 things that are special about you or things that you love to share with your teacher. 

Create an indoor or outdoor obstacle course. Time yourself and your family members. Have another go and see if you can beat your time?
