I am Taylor Wallace and this is my 14th year teaching in Elmwood. I teach middle and high school choir as well as 4k-4 general music. I am also the summer school coordinator for the district. Outside of Elmwood, I was the virtual music teacher for the Advanced Learning Academy of Wisconsin for 10 years. I received my Bachelor of Music Education in 2012 from UW-Eau Claire.
I currently serve as the Wisconsin State Mixed Honor Choir Alto Section Coach. I am an adjudicator for district Solo & Ensemble festivals as well. In 2023 I was the 5th and 6th grade Singing in Wisconsin NorthEast director. I am a soprano vocalist and currently perform with The Master Singers which is a professional choir based in Eau Claire and have performed with another community choir, Chorale a' Nouveau. I have also performed as an international soloist in the Paris Choral Festival for the 75th commemoration of D-Day in 2019.
I am married to Stuart Wallace who is a full time firefighter/EMT in Menomonie and a free lance trumpet player. We have a ten-year-old son, Emerson, who is a 5th grader here in Elmwood.
In my free time I enjoy traveling: which have included trips to Vienna, Maine, Mexico, Denver, NYC, San Antonio, Ontario, Las Vegas, Boston, Turkey, Ireland, France, Greece and South Africa.
When I'm not traveling, I love to practice yoga, hiking, kayaking, growing plants, and watching addicting T.V. shows.

Mr. Keaton Walker - K-12 Instrumental Music
Keaton Walker is the K-12 Instrumental Music teacher at Elmwood and is in his 10th year of teaching music. He has experience teaching all levels of music in grades K-12 including general music, choir and band.
Mr. Walker received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND in 2016. During this time as an undergraduate, he had the opportunity to travel to and perform in many parts of North America including Los Angeles, Chicago, Denver, Seattle, Philadelphia, New York and Winnipeg. Keaton's primary areas of instrumental study include trumpet, other various brass instruments and percussion.
Keaton is married to Jacy Walker and they live in River Falls with their son, Alden. In his free time, Keaton enjoys disc golf, seeing Broadway shows, kayaking and spending time with family.
