Join us for our 41st annual conference in the center of fashion, style, innovation and design of Europe: Milan, Italy! At ELMLE Milan 2027 we want you to Strut Your Stuff as a Middle School educator. It's time to show off all the great work you are doing with your students each and every day, fashioning inspired minds and designing innovative learning experiences that meet young adolescents where they are and take them as far as they can go.
Check out our dynamite lineup of Featured Speakers - bringing their expertise to the runway that is our host school - American School of Milan.
Explore our full lineup of Thursday Pre-Conference Sessions here.
To get excited for ELMLE Milan, please come join us at our Leadership Retreat in Stockholm, Sweden, October 16-17. Click here for more information.
Thanks again for your engagement and for expanding our professional network. If you're feeling inspired, consider submitting an article for the Bridge in the Middle blog. We look forward to seeing you in Milan next January!

The votes are in, and the winning logo designer for our #ELMLEMilan 2027 conference is Chris Malsom. Chris is a student at the International School of Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Chris will receive an Amazon gift certificate (and eternal fame)! Chris' nominated teacher from ISA will receive a complimentary Pre-Conference registration to #ELMLEMilan.
In this real-world learning experience, students were asked to include the theme of the conference, "Strut your stuff." As part of the design brief, they were provided with the HEX codes for the ELMLE colors and a vector copy of the official ELMLE logo to incorporate into the design. Students could use their graphic design skills, but no AI. The ELMLE Steering Committee received dozens of entries! Thanks to everyone who entered, and congratulations and thank you, Chris!

"The speakers at this year's conference were OUTSTANDING. It is a credit to this team, and something I'm always impressed by. The connection across speakers and sessions around science / research backed practices and the importance of belonging was especially clear and impactful."
"Meeting so many really fantastic educators ... could not have been possible without the work of the Steering Committee ...The care and thought in organisation meant that all energies could focus on learning and making connections."
