We are continuing to use a positive approach to school-wide management. Below you will find a list of our expectations:

Your child’s goal is to do their best. They can accomplish this by following our classroom rules and CHAMPS expectations throughout the day. However, if they choose to not follow the rules/expectations the following consequences will take place.
First Reminder-Discussion occurs
Second Reminder-Discussion occurs
If the same behavior keeps happening repeatedly, you will receive a phone call or email to further discuss the behavior.
Minors and Majors
From District 205:
Shown to have academic benefit only when it’s purposeful
Not necessarily assigned every night (occasional Math, studying for tests, etc.)
Time after school and in the evening is for families
Make time to read together for enjoyment every night!
3rd Grade Specific
Read every night
Eureka math practice will only be coming home for lessons that need more reinforcement. Please try to practice multiplication facts.
Assignment notebooks are available for student/parent use. Due to our district homework policy, we will not use them regularly for writing daily assignments.
Children are encouraged to bring in a snack each day of fresh fruit or veggies.
Water bottles welcome- no juice or other drinks
