Project W.I.S.E.R. (Women Inspired by STEM, Engaged by Robotics) was started out of the belief that STEM is better when everyone can take part. That's why we focus on getting young women into robotics. We started with a big win from our all-girls team, Superstellar. Their success sparked a drive for more diversity. As a partner with FIRST Ladies, we've grown, and now, over 45% of girls in our school district are involved in FIRST programs. This is a big step forward in making sure more people are included. Our efforts to bring women into STEM are growing both locally and globally. We have hosted webinars with people from three countries and teamed up with over 15 groups around the country to promote diversity in STEM. Locally, we formed a Society of Women Engineers Next Club in our school district. This club provides a place for girls to gain skills and confidence needed in STEM. Our aim is not just to help young women. We want to start a movement worldwide that celebrates everyone's talents, no matter their gender. By supporting fairness and inclusion, we are helping create a future where the next wave of inventors is diverse, confident, and unstoppable. We're creating more than just robots; we're building a brighter, more welcoming future for everybody.Â
