What Is FIRST?
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a program designed to create the next generation of STEM professionals by teaching both the hard and soft skills needed to succeed.
FIRST has three different leagues of competition. We are a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team.
FIRST Tech Challenge teams (grades 7-12) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.

Every year, FIRST releases a new game, or Challenge, for us to meet. As a team, we must build a robot that can play the game.
