A workshop for early childhood professionals

Topics covered in this interactive workshop include:

•       The Role That Environmental Assessment Plays in Our Programs                                                   

•       The Tools We Use For Assessment And Why

•       Assessment in Relation to STAR Ratings

•       Key Differences Between ECERS-R and ECERS-3

•       *Focus On The ECERS-3 Document For Assessment: We Will Explore Each Subscale With Video Segments and Discussions

•       Defining The Teacher’s Role During Assessment Time

A round table discussion will give participants the opportunity share ideas and support each other. 

After the training, support in preparing for assessment will be provided to teachers as needed.

Each participant will take home the tools needed to self-assess their learning environment in preparation for ECERS-3 Assessment.
