Dual Credit Courses Available
Currently, as part of our agreement with Angelo State University, we offer academic dual credit to students beginning in the 10th grade for students who meet eligibility requirements. Sophomore students may take one elective course per semester to prepare them for core classes during their junior and senior years.
The following courses are currently offered online through ASU:
Sophomores:
Art--ART 1301 (Fall and Spring)
Psychology--PSY 2301 (Fall and Spring)
Juniors:
English III--ENGL 1301 (Fall)
US History--HIST 1301 (Fall)
English III--ENGL 1302 (Spring)
US History--HIST 1302 (Spring)
Seniors:
English IV--ENGL 2321 (Fall)
Government--POLS 2305 (Fall)
College Algebra--MATH 1314 (Fall)
English IV--ENGL 2326 (Spring)
Texas Government--POLS 2306 (Spring)
Students wishing to participate in dual credit, either as first-time or returning students will need to submit an acknowledgment of the requirements for participation. If a student does not meet the criteria established by Electra High School, they will not be permitted to take dual credit courses through EHS.
