O*NET is an online resource for finding many different levels of occupational information for almost 1,000 jobs. It is a tool that helps students as they move into career exploration and make plans for their future occupations. This resource is available at no cost and contains so much useful information including career descriptions, necessary education and skills, and even job market forecasts.
The National Career Development Association (NCDA), has a compilation of online resources that can be used to help individuals in career planning or development. The resource page includes self-assessment tools, occupational information, industry and occupation-specific information, employment trends, and much more. These tools can be accessed by students or anyone at varying stages of career exploration and planning to create goals and plan!
