Beware of Online Instrument Purchases!

There are a lot of instruments available for *unbelievable prices via the Internet.  If it is sold on Amazon, Ebay, or something like that, it is probably junk.  A $75 violin is $75 dollars wasted.  They are poorly built, don't play right, require assembly after purchase, and usually break in the first year (nobody around here will fix them).  Please buy your instrument from somebody reputable.  See the above list.  

This is not based on wanting to "keep my friends in business."  This is from hard-learned experience.
