El Camino College offers an Associate in Science of Nursing (ADN) degree approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing. Students who successfully complete the nursing program qualify to take the National Council Licensure Examination for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN) which leads to licensure as a registered nurse (RN). The nursing program provides a high-quality nursing education to qualified and diverse students for the advancement of entry-level nurses who are prepared to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community. Students also have the opportunity to transfer to a university as nursing major.
