Hello and welcome to Kindergarten at East Knox Elementary School!

We have four kindergarten teachers working together to ensure that you have all you need to help your child succeed this year! Please be sure to utilize this page, and your child's classroom page, to stay up to date!

Please send your child with a labeled water bottle (no open lid cups)

Please be sure to send your child with a bottle of WATER ONLY and label it with his or her name. They can have these every day.

Please send your child with a snack each day!

Students will be able to have snack each day. We ask that you pack a snack for your child. Please be sure your child understands the difference between snack and a packed lunch!

We appreciate your help in these matters!

Please label all money that is sent to school!

Students may have money for lunch (juice, water, and going back for more are all an additional charge). Please be sure lunch money, Bulldog store money, fee's, etc. are labeled with your child's name, teacher, and purpose

(ex: Jane Smith | Teacher Name| Bulldog Store $)

Updates

We ask that students do NOT bring personal toys to school.

Please send students to school with a water bottle filled only with water.

If your child will be going home differently than normal, PLEASE send a note through Class Dojo or your child's purple folder! The school needs to know by 2:00PM!

If your child is celebrating a birthday, we would love to celebrate with them in the classroom. Please be sure that there is enough for all students in your classroom and contact your teacher about allergies. We ask that it not be a large cake, as we cannot cut and serve it easily. We appreciate your support in this and hope to celebrate all of our wonderful students this year! If your child has a June or July birthday, we would love to celebrate them in May!
