Here is a snapshot of the curriculum we use in kindergarten, in all four classrooms and the educational apps. We currently have iPads in our classroom, but we will soon have Chromebooks.

2 Volumes of Math Workbooks to guide children through the fundamentals of math in the real world
Heggerty
35 weeks of daily phonemic awareness lessons give Kindergarten students the tools to succeed. It contains explicit and systematic phonological and phonemic awareness lessons that are designed to show improvement in students' reading, spelling and writing, as the students learn to hear the sounds in words.
Fundations
Daily lessons taught throughout the school year to teach students to read and write.
Wonders
This is our newest reading program. This will cover daily reading, writing, letter practice, and centers for literacy.
Scholastic News
Each week we will have a new scholastic news, themed with weather, holidays, seasons, and more.
NWEA MAPS
NWEA is a research-based, mission-driven organization that supports students and educators worldwide by creating assessment and learning solutions that precisely measure growth and proficiency—and provide trustworthy insights to help tailor instruction. It is given at least 3x per school year, with progress monitoring capabilities.
Renaissance STAR
Accelerated Reader
This is once students are reading classroom books to test for comprehension. It is not taken for a grade.
The Lit Kit by Reagan Tunstall
This is a program purchased personally and used as supplemental work for students. It includes fun, hands-on learning centers to promote learning in the classroom
Guided Writing by Reagan Tunstall
This is a personally purchased program also. It is used to aide students in engaging writing activities throughout the year. Although used minimally, it does bring fun writing into the classroom.
