Inter-Library Loan

When the item you are looking for is not part of the Library's collection, it may be available through another Library. We currently have Inter-Library Loan (ILL) with the Central Library of VNU-HCMC and continue to build relationships with other leading universities, nationally and internationally.

Inter-library Loan allows you to obtain items from other libraries. Books and other “returnable” items are picked up at, and should only be returned to, the EIU Library's Circulation Desk (Level 3, Block 4).

Each individual will have one account for ILL with Central Library, VNU-HCMC. Do not allow other people to use your account, as you are fully responsible for all items and activities on your account. For legal reasons, including copyright and license agreements, you must be the end user of the items, and these items should be used for academic research purposes only.

Who can use ILL

Inter-library loans are available to the following people:

• EIU Faculty and Staff
• EIU Students
• Premium Community Members of EIU Library

How to use ILL

1. Search the online catalogue of Central Library - VNU-HCMC to locate materials we have access to

2. Submit a request by contacting the librarian at the Circulation Desk or sending an email to lib@eiu.edu.vn.

Tips: The more information you provide the better and the more likely it is that we can get your item quickly. Please include the ISBN or ISSN if you have it.
