3D Printing with a Purpose
Session Description
As more classrooms gain access to 3D printers, teachers might be interested in ways to use the printers for a purpose. This session will highlight a workflow that highlights possible printers, projects, and the payoff of using this technology. From an 8th grade science teacher that has utilized a printer in the classroom for the past 2 years, teachers will get plenty of resources and ideas in this session.

"I have been in education for 19 years. In that time, I've worked primarily in the middle grades in Science and Social Studies. Currently, I am the 8th grade science teacher at McCormick Junior High. I love working with students in the engineering process and building to solve problems. Currently, our favorite tools are iPads, Sphero, 3D Printers, cardboard, cardboard, and more cardboard!
