Our Vision

Our vision is to focus on youths’ assetstheir rich socio-cultural and personal histories and attributesin every service, event, and program we design. YDO works closely with other offices in Student Support & Health Services and with other EGUSD departments and community organizations in our efforts to engage youth in positive, asset-building activities.

We are committed to spreading awareness about the dangers of tobacco and drug use, and to supporting our youth with prevention and intervention programs. 

We are devoted to nurturing affirming and safe spaces in our schools, and to privileging youth voices in our work and services.

We provide a variety of programs to both students and staff to ensure safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.
