BOOK LENDING POLICY
Up to 3 library books can be checked out at a time. Books are due three weeks after being checked out. Most books can be renewed.
Photo ID cards or schedules with the bar code are required to check out books at the library.
No fines are charged for overdue items, as long as they are returned to the library. Payment plans are available for fines.
HOW TO SEARCH FOR A BOOK
Go to the EGUSD portal: portal.egusd.net
Click on the FOLLETT LIBRARY CATALOG icon.
WAIT - you will be automatically logged in.
Click on CATALOG.
Now you can search by keyword, title, author, or subject.
HOW TO PLACE A HOLD ON A BOOK
Found a book you want to borrow, but it's checked out?
Click on the book title.
Click on HOLD IT.
Then select SAVE.
Congratulations--you have placed a hold on this book! When it is ready for pickup, the library will send you a notice during KT. Books will be held for one week.
HOW TO CHECK YOUR LIBRARY ACCOUNT
Go to the EGUSD portal: portal.egusd.net
Click on the FOLLETT LIBRARY CATALOG icon.
WAIT - you will be automatically logged in.
Click on MY INFO.
Now you can view any checkouts or fines on your account.
