WHAT WE DO
WHAT WE DO
Health Office & First Aid
Every EGUSD school has a Health Office. In the Health Office, designated staff provide first aid items, ice packs and water. Staff are trained annually by EGUSD School Nurses.
Home and Hospital
Our team helps set-up home and hospital instruction (HHI) for general education students who are ill and unable to attend regular classes.
Medication at School
EGUSD carries stock epinephrine pens in every Health Office.
We can also administer and implement most medications or procedures for your child. Medications are stored in the Health Office, and are administered by designated trained staff.
Immunization Clinics
EGUSD holds free immunization clinics through the Vaccines for Children Program.
Please see our immunizations page for clinic dates.
Teen Parent Program
Teen Parent Program services students who are pregnant, parenting, and possibly pregnant. District nurses will meet with students to ensure that they are healthy and academically successful through 1 to 1 support and connection with school and community resources.
