Interactive Arts Resources

New York Philharmonic KIDZONE -  With these interactive activities, students can play match games, take scavenger hunts, learn about instruments, meet conductors and soloists, make their own instruments, and learn about famous composers.

Kennedy Center Education - Provides students and families with resources, including virtual performances, digital learning resources, at-home activities, and virtual field trips.

The Louvre - Travel to Paris, France to see amazing works of art at The Louvre with this virtual field trip.

Crocker Art Museum  - The Crocker Art Museum’s Early Childhood Initiative offers specialized programs such as Baby Loves Art, Artful Tot, and Wee Wednesday, with structured activities that engage children 5 and younger in ways that spark communication, creativity, and self-expression.

B Street Theatre - Studio for Young Actors - Young performers learn the fundamental tools needed to develop their physical, vocal, and emotional range in a way that is both fun and playful. Concepts are presented through a series of acting exercises, theatre games, improvisation, rehearsal process, and performance.

Sacramento Ballet  - The Sacramento Ballet entertains, educates, inspires, and engages people through the powerful vehicle of dance.

Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera - The mission of the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera is to foster community, inspire curiosity, and enrich lives through symphonic and opera music.

Broadway Sacramento - Broadway Sacramento (BWS) is Northern California’s premiere producer and presenter of musical theatre, and the largest nonprofit musical theatre in California.

The Elk Grove Fine Arts Center  - A place for local artists to share their work and for the community to experience the visual arts through classes and events.

City of Sacramento - Arts and Culture - Sacramento is quickly becoming a hot spot for urban nightlife and an arts scene that rivals other cities and has exceptional cultural, artistic, and leisure opportunities that enrich the quality of life, contributing to a vibrant metropolitan region.

City of Elk Grove Arts Commission - The Arts Commission created a virtual Citywide Art Guide for the benefit of residents and visitors that includes a comprehensive inventory of art pieces and art events in Elk Grove.

Parent’s Guide to the Visual and Performing Arts in California Public Schools - Developed by Create CA and California State PTA, this incredible resource highlights key topics in the arts for each grade level. It also showcases easy strategies for expanding arts learning outside of the classroom.
