The distinction between an active member and inactive member is a chapter based decision. The only requirement for a student to be a CSF member is earn the grades needed, and submit the application on time. 

Here at Cosumnes Oaks High School, a CSF "active member" peer tutors on campus. A CSF active member who meets the required tutoring hours by the end of their senior year will receive a gold CSF stole to wear at graduation. Only Junior and Senior CSF members are able to peer tutor. 

Peer tutoring MUST be done on campus during PAWS on Wednesdays. Peer tutoring can also be done in a teacher's classroom before school, or after school at COHS or Pinkerton. 

Tutoring hours are logged and tracked on orange tracking sheets provided my Ms. Haren. Tracking sheets should be turned in to Ms. Haren monthly, and hours are updated in the Google Classroom.
