We are spreading the springtime vibes at the library!
Now that we are well into term 4 of the year, students should be thinking about clearing their library accounts. If there are overdue items, lost items, or fines, be sure to clear this stuff up before the end of the year. Having overdue items on your library account puts students on the No Privileges List and may keep them from attending sporting events and dances. As always, if you have questions about your account don't hesitate to stop by and talk with us-we are happy to help! Textbook & Library book Info
Students, make sure you are paying attention to your library account and know what textbooks must be returned at end of the Term. You can always check your library account through the portal to see what is checked out on your library account as well as when those items are due. As a helpful reminder, we always stamp the due date for library books in the back of the book (see image left). It is helpful to put this date in your calendar as 21 days goes by faster than you'd think! It is your responsibility to know when your items are due. See below for a tutorial on how to access your library account. Having overdue materials puts you on the No Privileges List.

Chromebook User Agreement
Please read and understand the District's Chromebook Agreement.
Things to remember about your Chromebook:
-The Chromebook is EGUSD property, you are borrowing it as a student.
-Do not remove cases, they are there to protect the Chromebook from accidental damages.
-Do not put stickers or write on your Chromebook, it is EGUSD property.
-If you lose your Chromebook, notify your school immediately.
Tech Services at the Library
The COHS Library offers technology services for Chromebooks during the school day, before school or during both lunches. This is when our school site tech is available to help students with issues like broken Chromebooks. If you have password issues please contact (916) 686-0245 for support.

Please note that the library will be closed from January 3rd through the 4th, the library will be closed during textbook returns and check out.

Get a new ID at the Library!
We now have access to student photos uploaded this year and can print the 23-24 school year ID cards. Students may come before school, during their lunch or after school to get an ID made or reprinted. The cost for an ID replacement is $5.00 (payable at the student store. Please bring your receipt for proof of purchase). IDs are free for new students or students that never received one.
***You are required to have your ID card or digital ID for textbook check-out or library book check.
