When?
Every Tuesday morning from 7:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.
Students should enter the main office door (door #1) at 7:40 a.m. and report directly to the music room. Students will put coats and backpacks in the hallway outside my room (on the wall).
Our first choir rehearsal will be on Tuesday, September 23rd.
Please feel free to join the following week if you miss the first practice.
Requirements
Please be on time for rehearsals (7:40 a.m. sign-in).
a. This is very important, as we move quite fast in choir-arriving late can cause students to not be able to properly warm up their vocal cords and miss important content/
announcements.
Attend all rehearsals and concerts unless excused (a written note or e-mail to: spugia@egrps.org).
Commit to the group! It shows responsibility and respect
Use critical thinking and good musicianship during each rehearsal

Safeties
If your child is assigned to a post that will conflict with choir rehearsals, they will need to find a sub. If they have any questions, they may talk to Mrs. Tinholt (wtinholt@egrps.org) or let me know. If possible, do both!
Breakfast
If your child(ren) will need their school breakfast while they are here for choir, we will ensure that they have the opportunity to do so. Students will grab a bag on their way to choir and may eat before choir starts or after to avoid choking hazards.

If your child is interested in the 4th and 5th grade choir, please review this information and fill out a short form online by clicking here, or completing the survey below. You can also click the survey below to be taken to the form. Please fill out this information by Friday, September 19th.

Remind
In case of any emergencies or communication needs, I have set up a Remind texting link. This will allow me to send a text to you, contingent upon signing up, with any reminders or last minute announcements.
Communications are also sent through email, but Remind is the best way to get a hold of me and get the most up to date information.

Choir Shirts
We will be ordering choir t-shirts this year! Please click on this link to submit your shirt size(s).
Shirts are $15 and can be paid through SchoolPay here. If you need financial assistance, please call Molly Ebers. In order for students to receive their choir shirts in a timely manner, please submit shirt size(s) and payment by Friday, October 17th. It will cost more if we need to make an additional order!
Volunteer Opportunity
I am looking for a volunteer to help coordinate t-shirt orders for the choir this year. This would involve double checking all students who have submitted payments have also submitted a shirt size, as well as organizing the shirts for distribution. If you are interested in this, please email @spugia@egrps.org to let me know.
