When?
Every Monday morning from 7:45 a.m. - 8:15 a.m. Parent drop-off should be at the Burchard parking lot on the north side of the building. Students may enter the school beginning at 7:40 a.m. through door 9 by the gym and report directly to the music room with their coats, backpacks, etc. Students are not to stop at their lockers before choir!
Requirements
Please be on time for rehearsals (7:40 a.m. sign-in).
a. This is very important, as we move quite fast in choir-arriving late can cause students to not be able to properly warm up their vocal cords and miss important content/announcements.
Attend all rehearsals and concerts unless excused (A written note or e-mail to: hkline@egrps.org).
Commit to the group! It shows responsibility and respect
Use critical thinking and good musicianship during each rehearsal

If you order a choir shirt, pay for it on SchoolPay found here.
Our first choir rehearsal will be on Monday, September 22nd.
Please feel free to join the following week if you miss the first practice.

Breakfast
If your child(ren) will need their school breakfast while they are here for choir, we will ensure that they have the opportunity to do so. Students will grab a bag on their way to choir and may eat before choir starts or after to avoid choking hazards.
Safeties
If your child is assigned to a post that will conflict with choir rehearsals, they will need to find a sub. If they have any questions, they may talk to Mrs. Burnside (dburnside@egrps.org) or let me know. If possible, do both!
