Dress Code

You must wear formal attire (tux and gown, or suit with tie and a formal dress) at the prom and remain in formal attire until the prom ends at 12:00 a.m.

No open midriff style dresses are permitted. This includes two-piece dresses with an exposed area between the top and bottom that is larger than one inch and one-piece dresses that have cutouts that expose a large portion of the abdominal area.

Hats, shorts, and jeans are not appropriate for a formal, indoor event.

Ticket Prices

Members of the senior class and students on the prom committee will receive one complimentary ticket to the prom. Their guests must purchase a ticket according to the fee schedule listed below.

Tickets go on sale on Monday, March 8, 2021.

EGHS Students and Graduates

$40 if purchased on or before April 5, 2021. A $10 late fee will be assessed after that date.

If size restrictions are necessary, priority is given to EGHS juniors and seniors.

Ticket price includes admittance to the after prom event.

Guests from Other Area Schools

$50 if purchased on or before April 5, 2021. A $10 late fee will be assessed after that date.

Prom Photos

We have once again partnered with Janelle Spencer to provide onsite photography. We encourage all of our prom attendees to have their photos taken free of charge. These photos will be published in the prom memory book, so whether you intend to purchase photos or not, we want you in our memory book. Should you wish to purchase either a memory book or a custom photos, the forms will be available in Mrs. Finn's room, Mrs. Leibacher's room, the library, and the main office. Forms and pricing will be found on the links below as well.

2021 After Prom

The 2021 prom will take place at Urban Air

3603 State Rd 46, Bloomington, IN 47404

You must have a signed waiver for anyone attending who is under the age of 18. The link to sign the waiver is here: LINK

You MUST be registered for prom to be allowed to attend after-prom.

Prom Court Nominations

Nominations for prom court may only be made by members of the EGHS junior and senior classes. You MUST be logged into your EGHS email account. If you are logged into your email on your phone and you get an error, you will not be able to use your phone. You will need to use a computer to make nominations.

Seniors nominate seniors for king and queen, while juniors nominate juniors for prince and princess.
When the actual voting takes place, seniors will select the prince and princess and juniors will select king and queen.

Elections will take place on Friday, April 23rd. Please take a moment during that time to place your vote. Remember, only students attending prom are eligible to vote.
