EGCSD Library Mission Statement: The mission of the East Greenbush Central School District Library Program is to provide student-centered instruction and curricular support to equip learners with the skills needed to thrive in a changing global environment. We cultivate avid lifelong readers of diverse written works, ethical users of technology, and critical thinkers. We attain this through direct instruction and collaborative co-teaching with classroom teachers in accordance with the Empire State Information Fluency Continuum Standards. We aim to provide a safe environment with equitable access to expertly curated resources across the district in order to help students excel and achieve maximum potential in a 21st century learning community.
