A small number of district owned instruments will be available for students to use through the district lottery. Check the appropriate box on the sign up form if you would like to be entered into the district lottery.
Parents and guardians will need to provide the instrument and other supplies such as grease, oil, and reeds. Lesson books will be provided by the school.
It is highly recommended that a quality instrument be rented (or "rent to own") rather than purchased, especially for beginning students.
It is also highly recommended that beginning students do not handle parts of the instrument until instructed to do so in class. Wind instruments can easily be damaged if not handled properly.
Bell Kit/ Percussion students only need a bell kit with mallets and a practice pad (8") with sticks (2B). You don't need to purchase a kit with an actual snare drum.
