She pursued her master's in power systems at NIT, Rourkela. She received the highest marks in various courses such as power system operation and control, power system laboratory and computer aided power system. She worked on transmission line overload alleviation using model predictive control as a part of her Master's thesis, where she was awarded the Institute Branch Topper Medal for holding first position in MTech in Electrical Engineering at NIT Rourkela in May 2021.

Computer Aided Power System Laboratory- Mentored around 25 post graduate students for understanding the basics of python programming and guided the students on various load flow algorithms for IEEE test systems.
Power System Simulation Laboratory- Mentored the graduate students for writing codes on MATLAB for various power system studies such as gauss-siedal, newton-raphson and fast decoupled load flow, short circuit analysis and stability analysis.
