Her research interests include power system optimisation, system operations, power system deregulation, power system pricing and game theory. The variability and uncertainty of renewable energy resources add to the challenges in the system operation and require revisiting the current practices. She is motivated to address these issues to bring the crest and valley of the power system attributes such as voltage, frequency, and line power flow within the safe operating envelope, approaching an optimal system operation. It will require a comprehensive analysis of the power system considering the ownership and communication between the stakeholders and the policies governing them.
Awarded Prime Minister Research Fellowship for Doctoral Studies at IIT Roorkee, May 2022.
Institute Branch Topper Medal for Master in Technology in Electrical Engineering, NIT Rourkela, May 2021.
Cleared GATE in EE with 591 score and 95.5 percentile, March 2019.
