EYFS AUTUMN 1

Welcome to EYFS 

The beginning of our Journey in EYFS!

During the first two weeks in Reception, we have made lots of new friendships, practised new routines and have settled in really well. We have had the opportunity to explore our new classrooms and outside learning area. 

The Mixed Up Chameleon

This week we listened and watched the story 'The Mixed up Chameleon'. We linked the colours to the different zones of regulations including: happy, sad, worried and anger. We then used different materials to create our own mixed up chameleons. 

This week we have read the story 'The Gingerbread Man'. We sequenced the story using pictures. We then had to use one to one correspondence to match the correct amount of buttons to the Gingerbread Man. We had so much fun!
