TUTORING

If you are in need of help with Spanish here are a few suggestions:

Be proactive about your school work

1. Look at AERIES regularly. Keep up with deadlines.

2. Make sure to follow your teacher's syllabus.

3. Communicate with your teacher.

Find out what work you need to turn in or is missing.

    • Talk to your teacher and gather test, homework and work that will help you and your tutor assess areas of focus.

    • Sign up must be done a WEEK prior to the meeting date.

2. SIGN UP IN P-7

    • You will see a Calendar next to the Chromebook cart.

    • Fill out a tutoring information card and select a day you want to receive help during FLEXTIME

        • Name & Last Name: _________________

        • Level of Spanish: ____________________

        • Current teacher: ____________________

        • Date wanting tutoring: ____________________ (look at the calendar to make sure an AP Student is available that day)

    • Let Ms. Walker know that you are in need of a tutor. AP Spanish students will receive credits for helping other students in lower level Spanish classes.

3. MAKE SURE SOMEONE IS AVAILABLE

    • Check a few days before your tutoring day to make sure someone has picked up the assignment and will be there to help you.

4. LET YOUR TEACHER KNOW

    • Make sure your teacher knows you are seeking and receiving help.

    • If the tutoring offered is not working out please let Ms. Walker know.
