Prime minister's Spelling Bee

In Week 6, you are invited to sit the Prime Minister's Spelling Bee! If your parents have given consent on Compass (no payment required), you will sit the Bee with your class, online, using laptops and headphones. 

Practice Tests

Before then, you can prepare with the practice tests below. There are 4 practice tests for you to try out. With each test, try to improve your accuracy, speed and proofreading. This will help you feel prepared for the official Bee!

You can either write your words in your Spelling Homework book, or if you have a device you can type on, you can create a Word/Google Docs file and type your words (remembering that the Bee will be typed, not handwritten!).

Results

At the end of August, you will have access to your results, including scores on your accuracy and speed. The top scorers may even earn a spot in an in-house CPS Spelling Bee later this term, or the state competition for Victoria!
