Sample of a Daily Home Learning Schedule

Reading

• Read a picture story book (Reading Eggs, a book on Epic or one of your own)

• Practise your Tricky Words

• Listen to a story from Storyline Online

• Practice reading out your Jolly Phonics letters and making the sounds

Writing

• Write a sentence about something you did today or yesterday. Draw a picture to match your sentence

• Practise writing your name and the letters of the alphabet

Mathematics

• Counting patterns - practice counting to 20 forwards and backwards beginning at different starting points. Extension: counting to 50 and beyond

• Mathletics online or print the provided workbooks on the Numeracy page of this site

• Pick an activity of our Numeracy page for a variety of maths games to play and songs to sing

Play, Wellbeing & Physical Activity

• Make sure you includes all of these everyday
