Learning Tasks:
Read your independent fiction text for 15 minutes, think about how you would summarise your text.
Summarise your text with a peer.
In small groups of 4 or 5 work together, rehearse your retelling of the Three Billy Goats Gruff

We are learning to write a simple information report.
Success Criteria:
I can write sentences about a topic.
I can organise my writing using subheadings.
Learning Task:
In the same groups as yesterday, students will sort out their facts and display them on a poster to create an Information Report. Groups will present their Information Report to the class.

Learning Task: Measuring Mass
Today in class, students will explore Mass using Pan Balances. They will compare items from around the classroom such as books, blocks, pencils, etc. What do we notice?
Students will then try and find two items that have the same Mass. Students will explore how they know they are the same?
