Class Learning Updates
Please see this page for updates on the latest learning that has been happening in our specialist classrooms!
Hi, my name is Jason Principato. This is my 11th year of teaching, both in the classroom and Physical Education. I love soccer and have been playing since I was 5 years old. I believe that Physical Education should be a space where students are engaged in all sports as well as learning about the benefits of living a healthy and active lifestyle.
As Term 4 kicked off, our students were welcomed back to an exciting surprise in the gym, the arrival of two massive digital screens! These new additions have already begun transforming our PE space, taking our lessons, activities, and events to a whole new level.
The screens are incredibly versatile and can be used for a wide range of PE-related functions. Whether it’s displaying live scoreboards during games, showing instructional videos to support skill development, blasting music to energise warm-ups, or even using buzzer sounds for team challenges and time-keeping.These screens have quickly become an integral part of the gym experience.
We’ve already seen the positive impact in classes and sporting events. Students are more engaged, and teachers have a powerful new tool to enhance both teaching and the overall atmosphere. From dynamic fitness circuits to inter-house competitions and whole-school sports assemblies, the possibilities are endless!
We’re incredibly privileged to have access to this kind of technology in our school. It reflects our ongoing commitment to creating fun, inclusive, and innovative PE experiences for every student. These screens don’t just bring excitement, they bring opportunity. We look forward to exploring all the ways they can support learning, teamwork, and a love for physical activity.
Here’s to a high-energy, high-tech Term 4 in PE!

It’s been a fantastic way for students to build confidence, improve movement and agility, and enjoy learning tennis in a fun, hands-on environment.
In term 2 our students proudly represented our school at the district Cross Country event, competing against students from other local schools. It was a great opportunity for them to challenge themselves, show resilience, and demonstrate school spirit in a competitive yet supportive environment. We were so proud of the way our students gave their best effort, encouraged one another, and displayed great sportsmanship throughout the day.
In Term 1, all year levels at Aitken Creek have been focusing on developing their basketball skills through a range of fun and engaging activities.
