Skill Development and Drills
(Improves Defense) Piggy in the middle (5-6 people per group)
( Improves Defense) Defending like a snake (5-6 People per group)
(Improves Attack and Awareness) Shape passing with three ball (4-5 People per group)
( Improves Shooting) Shooting practice ( two teams at each goal in a line taking turns shooting)

Piggy in the Middle
The Aim
The aim of Piggy in the middle is to use defending skills to try and get the ball off from your team.
What you need
1 ball
How To Play
To play, Its simple. However many people you have in your group, everyone but 1 person form a shape. The 1 person in the middle try and defend to get the ball off the other players. If the person manages to get the ball off the players, then the person who touched it last becomes the Piggy.
Variations
If you want a challenge to the drill, you can make it more tricky by adding another ball in or having 2 piggy in the middles.
Defending like a snake
The Aim
The aim for the game is for everyone to have a go at defending.
What we need
1 Ball
How To Play
To play defending like a snake, you need a group of 5-6 with everyone in a line except 1. The people who are in the line hold on to each others shoulders so they form a snake. The 1 person is trying to tag the end of the snake. The snake has to defend the person so they don't get to the end.
Shape Passing
The Aim
The aim of Shape passing to see how many times you can the ball around without dropping it.
What we need
1 ball
How to Play
To play, you must make a group of 5-6 and stand in a shape that will best suit the number of people such as making a circle if there are 6 people to fit everyone. Once you form your group, get the ball to be on either side will count down to start passing the ball around. See how many times you can pass the ball around the circle without dropping it.
Variations
If you want a challenge to the drill, you can make it more tricky by adding another ball so that there are two balls moving around the group at the same time.
Shooting Practice
The Aim
The Aim for this drill is to simply shoot! Shoot at the goal keeper and hope to get it in!
What we need
1 Ball
1 Goal Net
How to Play
To play, you need to get in pairs and 1 person should be the goal keeper and the other should be shooting at them. Grab a ball and take turns trying to get the ball inside the net without the goal keeper stopping it. Once you have a few go's, swap pairs and roles.
