What is Sepep?
SEPEP stands for Sport Education in Physical Education Program. It is a fun and engaging way for students to collaborate and in a student-led program, it emphasizes students' ownership & responsibility, they are not just participants, instead they need to use teamwork to manage all aspects of the project.
Aim of Sepep
Sepep aims to improve physical skills (obviously) and mirrors real world sport & dynamics, beyond physical activities, Sepep encourages students to develop and improve their teamwork, leadership, communication and organisational skills.
The purpose of Sepep
The purpose of Sepep is for students to learn vital leadership skills, such as teamwork, responsibility and problem solving. These skills help students learn about most real world problems and systems in programs and how to manage them.
Sepep for 6T
Sepep for us means to manage, play and learn about the teamwork skills required. We have 4 teams, however, all of us will be managing different roles in order for this program to be successful and taking shape. We have a website if you wanna learn more about it. We will be running a program, our sport is European Handball. An explanation of what each role does below:
Our team of Coaches will be developing a training program for all students to participate in. They may also assist in the games that will be played. They will also make a coaching plan
Our marketing group will be carefully designing the teams and website. They will create logos, develop team names with the Ceos and also make the uniforms for each team.
The referees will be making and developing a rulebook, umpiring games, and managing games and results of each team. They will also assist in the timekeeping they will keep track of data and stats.
The media team will be helping design the website and writing reports and documenting games for the school newspaper, they will also be in charge of taking photos of each game.
Our Website is designed to the finest standard and we will all work together to make a fantastic website and program for our school, cohort, and community, and we will do our best to ensure everyone will enjoy the program.
