This video gives a good explanation of Mass, Weight and Force.
Scalar and Vecor Quantities
Scalars are quantities that are fully described by a magnitude (or numerical value) alone.
Vectors are quantities that are fully described by both a magnitude and a direction
Label the following as a vector or Scalar
Temperature
Momentum
Acceleration
Mass
Energy
Distance
Speed
Force
Velocity
Displacement
You will be completing some revision questions on trigonometry. This knowledge will be required for many engineering applications.
The power point below will be presented in class. You will also use this for revision. The question sheet has also be provided.
