It is designed to deliver government services and payments to support Australians, including social security and welfare, child support, emergency and health programs, in collaboration with other Australian Government agencies.
You can still access these services without MyGov BUT it is not as quick or simple to access information you may require.
The government has chosen to become more digital in its interactions with you.
The relevant government services that you can access via MyGov are:
Basically, you will need:
a personal email address (not your education email)
your mobile number (only if you have one)
A safe and memorable password that meets the rules
3 secret questions/answers that you MUST remember
This is where it can get tricky! As the details you have for each service MUST match the details you have given for MyGov. For example, the names you have provided; spelling; middle names etc.
