Q: How do I join a music ensemble?

Q: I don't know which one is best for me to join! 

A: Have a browse of our options here. You can also come along to rehearsal and try an ensemble before you commit. If you are starting Year 7 its best to join rovers or percussion.

Q: Can I get private music lessons at school?

A: Yes, check out our tutor's page for more information. Perfect whether you're an experience player or total beginner 😄

Q: Where do I store my instrument during the school day?

A: There is an instrument storeroom at the bottom of the C block stairs (near carpark). You can get the keys from the CAPA staffroom (top of C block stairs).

Q: Can I hire an instrument from the school?

A: Yes, we hire through the arts unit. Please indicate on your expression of interest if you need to hire an instrument and we will be in touch.

Q: How much does it cost to join?

A: Due to the important wellbeing enhancing power of music, students are invited to join Choir for free! 

Our instrumental ensembles have a fee that covers the cost of tutors, more information here. Not sure which to join yet? Come along free to your first rehearsal.
